ACPE is excited to announce the continuation of our partnership with Ausdance NSW.
Ausdance NSW is the peak advocacy body for dance. Ausdance NSW has a 40-year history of educating, inspiring and supporting the dance community. Ausdance NSW is a membership organisation for individuals or organisations.
ACPE Head of Department Education and Dance, Diane Grant, sees this partnership as an exciting opportunity for ACPE to expand and develop it’s dance programs, “We are pleased to announce the partnership between Ausdance NSW and the Australian College of Physical Education. This dynamic partnership offers networking and key work experience opportunities for our students as they prepare for their future career in the dance industry. We look forward to sharing resources with Ausdance NSW.”
Ausdance NSW provides advice, advocacy and dance programs in different contexts and environments, both directly and indirectly and in partnership with other state and federal government departments, local government authorities, dance companies, organisations, educational institutions, businesses, and dance studios. Ausdance NSW liaises with government bodies and other sectors, such as youth, aging and education on the issues that matter, to help foster a sustainable and successful dance sector.
Ausdance NSW Executive Director, Marie Soghomonian, stated that the partnership between Ausdance NSW and ACPE will offer integral support for the sector.
