The Bachelor of Sport Coaching (Strength & Conditioning) is a unique and specialist degree that equips students with skills to inspire and motivate athletes and players through modern strength and conditioning techniques. With this sport coaching course, you’ll also explore managing the political, legislative and administrative complexities you may encounter in your career.
This sport coaching course combines coaching, sport science and business elements to ensure you have ample career opportunities upon completing your degree. This is the only undergraduate degree in Australia that delivers the Advanced Strength and Conditioning option. Course Structure
The Bachelor of sport Coaching (Strength & Conditioning) course can be completed in three years with full-time study, divided into six semesters. Some learning outcomes you’ll study during your sport coaching education are exercise physiology, rehabilitation and injury prevention. You’ll also analyse musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics and sport medicine and learn how to monitor athlete performance.

The Bachelor of sport Coaching (Management) program is a course for those interested in pursuing a career in sport management. While you will learn business and management skills, this sport coaching course also provides education around sport science, strength and conditioning and exercise physiology.
Combining theory and practice, this course is taught by sport professionals who will share real-life experiences and unique insights so that you can feel prepared for any challenges you may encounter during your career. The result is a flexible foundation to build upon the key competencies appropriate to highly successful sport coaches and management specialists.
It shares core elements of modern coaching and management principles increasingly encountered in the sport sector. Classes are taught by experts who are highly trained in their fields and who bring their own industry experience to help provide context to theoretical and practical units. Practical classes will provide further opportunities for mastery of subject material and assist with the development of practical application of the theory in each unit of study. In addition, you will gain several supporting certifications to accompany your degree.

This sport coaching education program has a three-year duration, split into six semesters, totalling 12 weeks each. This program also offers a blended learning structure, with studies conducted on and off campus. With this degree, you’ll explore various elements of sport management, including sport marketing, financial management and leadership, to help you take charge in your future role.
