ACPE has partnered with Mental Health Management (MHM) in 2020 to provide an opportunity for the sports sector to attend the Mental Health Response Workshop for Sport. Six workshop dates have been scheduled to ensure that industry members have access to this valuable workshop. ACPE, in partnership with MHM, is pleased to be able to not only offer this workshop on campus but to offer this at a reduced rate for the sector.
ACPE Partnerships Manager Michael McKnight says; “We are both grateful and excited to have partnered with Debbie Swibel and Mental Health Management (MHM), in what we see as being a long term relationship that will extend well beyond 2020. In recent years, ACPE has strengthened its connection to the sports industry through hosting a wide range of events on campus, by ensuring ACPE students are completing their industry experience with our industry partners and through delivering a wide range of professional development opportunities with partners. Through our partnership with MHM, we will be able to offer another valuable course to the industry. Our aim is to simply improve both the accessibility and affordability of the Mental Health Response course for the NSW Sporting network. Debbie has previously delivered the course for major clubs such as Sydney FC, so we are delighted to be able to partner with Debbie and MHM on this program. We are hoping to reach as many coaches, athletes, parents, and administrators as possible with this important and valuable course.”
