Staff Bio

Rhiannon is an Australian dancer and choreographer whose work is recognised nationally and internationally. She has developed her artistic practice through residency, commission and presentation opportunities throughout Australia, South-East Asia, Europe and North America.

Her choreographies have been presented by Sydney Festival, Sydney Dance Company (New Breed and INDance), the Art Gallery of NSW, Dance Massive, Dancehouse (Melbourne), Dance Nucleus (Singapore), Baltic Circle International Theatre Festival (Helsinki), Trois-C-L (Luxembourg) and Movement Research (New York City).

Rhiannon has performed nationally and internationally in the works of with Mette Edvardsen (Belgium) Martin del Amo, Lee Serle, Amrita Hepi, Rosalind Crisp, and Brooke Stamp (among many others). Rhiannon is a working group member of Dance Research Australasia (DRA) and recently published in Performance Paradigm (19) and Alliances and Commonalities (Stockholm, 2024).

Rhiannon regularly teaches professional and tertiary contemporary dance technique and creative practice (NAISDA, Sydney Dance Company, Dance Makers Collective, Lucy Guerin Inc., ReadyMade Works, Tanzhaus Zurich (Switzerland), and Trois C-L (Luxembourg).
