Staff Bio

Melissa Brydon is an alumna of ACPE, where she earned a Bachelor of Health and Movement (Sport) and was awarded the College Medal for achieving the highest GPA in her graduating year (2017). She later completed a Master of Education (Sport Coaching) and began teaching in the Health Science Department, covering both health and exercise science disciplines. Beyond academia, Melissa has a strong passion for sport. She previously competed as a professional golfer, winning the 2005 Australian Longest Drive Championships and finishing 5th in the World Championships, and played for Macquarie University in the Sydney AFL Women’s Premier Division, where she was part of the 2019 premiership-winning team.
