ACPE and Baseball NSW team up to bring sport careers closer to the classroom
ACPE and Baseball NSW have launched a new partnership that will give students valuable industry experience from early in their studies.
Students will connect their studies with the real world through placements, industry projects and learning experiences across Baseball NSW. By learning alongside industry professionals, students can build practical skills, grow their networks and gain the confidence to take the next step in their careers.
This partnership is widely supported by ACPE, with Chief Marketing and Customer Officer, Bernadette Mackinnon encouraged by the opportunities it opens for students.
About Baseball NSW
Baseball NSW is the state governing body for baseball, supporting the growth and development of the sport across New South Wales.
Why this matters for students
“It’s important students gain a breadth of experience, ensuring they have skills that can be adapted across a range of sports. We see a bright future for Baseball in Australia, as it continues to grow and our students will benefit from being at the emergence.”
“This partnership represents one of ACPE’s strongest models of industry integration and sets a new benchmark for best practice. By learning with industry from the beginning, students can turn knowledge into experience, build meaningful connections and gain the confidence to launch their careers in sport,” offered Gareth Long, Head of Industry Integration and Program Strategy.
“Off the back of a great initiative architected by Baseball NSW’ former CEO, Matt Rippon, we’re excited to welcome ACPE students into our organisation, where they can learn from our people, bring fresh ideas and see how the sport industry works first-hand.”
