Elite Star Scholarship Details
Outline
The Elite Star Scholarship celebrates students who excel at the highest levels of sport or dance while pursuing their education. This scholarship recognises the dedication, discipline, and passion required to balance elite performance with academic achievement.
It is awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding talent and commitment in their chosen sport or dance field, whether competing, performing, at a professional level or representing at state, national, or international levels. Beyond performance, it acknowledges the resilience, teamwork, and leadership that define excellence both on the field and on the stage.
The scholarship provides support that enables students to continue striving for success in their discipline while reaching their full potential in their studies.

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen residing permanently in Australia
- have completed the Australian Year 12 Higher School Certificate or other academic qualifications
- be commencing full-time study in any ACPE undergraduate course in the study period of application
- be an active member of a team (athlete or coach), dance company or an official participating at a representative level of sport or dance

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed based on:
- Evidence of outstanding sporting, coaching, officiating or performance achievement
- A written personal statement (details of what to include is outlined in the Evidence Required section below)
- Supporting letter
Evidence Required
- A well-articulated Personal Statement of purpose where you express your academic goals. This should include an introduction about you and a paragraph (of no more than 100 words per paragraph) on each of the following:
- How will you contribute to ACPE and its community as a scholarship student?
- Explain what you hope to achieve by studying this course
- Describe how your involvement at a high level in sport, coaching, dance or officiating has contributed to the development of your personal attributes and will contribute to your pursuit of academic success.
- Supporting evidence which may include a statutory declaration and evidence of high-level performance from a club or an association.
- One letter of support from an independent referee.
